This dialog box enables you to connect to or disconnect from Solution Manager at any time during the testing process.
Do not disconnect UFT from Solution Manager while a GUI test that is stored in Solution Manager is open or while UFT is using a shared resource stored in Solution Manager (such as a shared object repository or data table file).
User interface elements are described below:
The Solution Manager server to which you want to connect.
The Server description box lists the servers available in the SAP Logon Pad or the SAP Logon dialog box.
To add a server to the list in the Solution Manager Connection dialog box, close the dialog box, define an appropriate entry using your SAP Logon dialog box, and then reopen the Solution Manager Connection dialog box.
For SAPGUI 740 environments, if this item is missing, add an environment variable SAPLOGON_INI_FILE with the value set to the path of the saplogon.ini. This file can be found on a computer that has SAPGUI version 730 installed. In addition, ensure the server you want to use is added in the SAPGUI Logon dialog with same name
The user name used to log on to the specified server.
The password for the specified user name.
The client number.
The language that you want to use.
|Reconnect on startup||
Instructs UFT to automatically reconnect to the Solution Manager server the next time you open UFT.
|Save password for reconnection on startup||
Instructs UFT to save your password for reconnection on startup.
If you select Reconnect on startup, but do not select this option, you are prompted to enter it each time UFT opens.
Enabled only when Reconnect on startup is selected.
Connects UFT to Solution Manager.
